As the Lead Designer, I led the end-to-end product experience across platforms. I defined the insight model, shaped the result experience, and designed how router, device, and Wi-Fi data could become useful and actionable for everyday users.

Making network performance understandable
Making network performance understandable
The challenge was not simply showing users more data. It was helping them understand what their connection meant, where a problem came from, and what they could do next.

I designed how complex network signals translate into clear performance statuses, plain-language explanations, and contextual recommendations. This included the relationship between router performance, device performance, and Wi-Fi quality.

I extended the core experience across Mobile, Web, and SDK/iFrame, adapting the interaction and information hierarchy to different contexts while maintaining a consistent product system.

Real Speed is currently in development and expected to launch soon. As the product is not yet public, I’m keeping this case study at a high level. If you’d like to learn more about the design process and product decisions, I’d be happy to share more in conversation.
